Truelight Truelight SDI

Truelight SDI is designed to fit in an SDI-HD stream, providing a real-time Truelight 3D colour transformation for accurate print emulation on an HD display or digital projection system.

Truelight SDI is sited downstream from an HD colour corrector or an HD DDR. The Truelight SDI box contains up to 15 Truelight cubes that can be selected to be applied in real-time to a HD data stream. The output of the box is fed to an HD monitor or digital projector to visualise the calibrated images exactly as they would appear on a film print, removing the need to process film-outs to review how the data will print. Truelight SDI can also be used to render in real-time through a ‘signed-off’ release print grade for HD/SD deliverables.

The SDI unit provides cubes for different negative and print stocks and to simulate different viewing environments, as well as for diagnostic purposes such as showing out-of-gamut colours.

The box supports all current HD formats in 8 or 10 bit YUV or dual-link RGB, as well as SD. It can be sited within the grading suite and operated via a push button front panel, or remotely controlled over ethernet.
