Graal was founded in 2000 and has always committed itself in providing high quality service and technology to its clients, ranging from film and TV to commercials.
The company's continuous investment in high-end equipment and personal training has established it as one of the most advanced post-production houses in Greece and the only Digital Intermediate provider across the country. Graal's investment includes: Northlight 2, Avid® DS Nitris, Avid® Adrenaline, Baselight HD, Bright systems SAN and a Sony SRX Projector for the DI Theatre.
Graal's 2000m2 privately-owned facilities are located in Syntagma, one of the most up-market areas of downtown Athens. The facility provides full DI services, film restoration, compositing, VFX, editing, graphic design, DVD authoring, full audio post-production services, in most formats including SD/ HD, 2K and 4K.
Combining the talent and technology at Graal with significant credits has led the company to associations of mutual respect with the most important Greek producers and directors trusting their projects to the company, no matter how demanding.
Furthermore, wishing to support young directors, Graal has created a production department that selectively develops and produces feature films believed to have a substantial artistic and commercial potential in the local and international film scene.
Graal currently has eight domestic feature film projects lined up for post-production and less than a month ago, the DI of Yiannis Smaragdis' new film 'El Greco' (www.elgrecothemovie.com), an international co-production between Greece, Spain and Hungary and the largest Greek production to date, was completed.
Entering dynamically into the film restoration field, Graal was chosen by Finos Film, the largest and the most awarded Greek production company during 1950-1990, to restore and digitise 160 of its feature films.
