Sapphire for Baselight
Baselight 6.0
FilmLight has partnered with Boris FX to create Sapphire for Baselight. This is the long-established Sapphire suite of OFX plugins, optimised for use in Baselight and now sold and supported by FilmLight.
On Linux systems, Boris FX Sapphire is no longer supported in Baselight 6.0 or Daylight 6.0; instead, you can use Sapphire for Baselight with these versions:
- Baselight 6.0 19881 and newer
- Daylight 6.0 19882 and newer
You can now purchase a subscription for Sapphire for Baselight directly from FilmLight; the plugin will then be licensed and supported by us.
If you are a current Sapphire user, we will provide you with a Sapphire for Baselight license to ensure continuity until your Boris FX Sapphire annual subscription expires; from that point, you will renew your subscription for Sapphire for Baselight directly with FilmLight. You can also request a 30-day trial licence.
Contact your FilmLight sales representative for more information; if you already have a licence, you can download Sapphire for Baselight here.
Sapphire for Baselight is not yet available for macOS systems; Baselight CONFORM and Daylight on macOS will continue to support Boris FX Sapphire until Sapphire for Baselight is released on macOS.
