Eligibility
One Licence, Multiple Editions
We are pleased to offer special pricing arrangements for some of our products, where they are purchased exclusively for academic use by qualifying educational establishments (see Eligibility below).
Pricing Basis
- Annual licence subscription for academic use
Minimum order of ten (10) annual subscription licences for $995
Comprises ten node-locked licence keys for use by the students and staff of the educational institution to which the licence has been granted. Each batch of licences are valid for a period of one calendar year from date of activation of the first licence.
To qualify for academic pricing, your educational establishment must be either:
- Administered by a national government and operated on a non-profit basis.
- A private educational establishment that is a not-for-profit organisation
(for example, an establishment with registered charity status).

In all cases, the products must be used by students or staff for academic purposes, which does not include college AV departments or any other activity not concerned with an academic curriculum.
One Licence, Multiple Editions
If you want access to the power of Baselight within a host of different applications, there is no need to buy multiple licences. So long as the applications are installed on the same system, purchase one licence in the Baselight Editions range and you get access to all Editions on that machine.
There are currently two products available in this range:
- Baselight for NUKE (Windows, Linux & Mac) – Academic
- Baselight for Avid (Windows & Mac) – Academic
