Responding to a surge in client demand for the highest-quality digital film grading, full-service South African post-production facility The Refinery has invested in a Baselight HD colour grading system from FilmLight. The grading tool for commercials, broadcast and DI, Baselight will enable The Refinery to offer a complete turnkey solution to its customers.
The company’s new Baselight, including FilmLight’s comprehensive 3D stereoscopic toolset, will be installed in a brand-new digital theatre complete with a 3D-enabled 2K Barco projector. The theatre will also feature FilmLight’s Technical Academy Award-winning Truelight colour management system.

The system was sold by FilmLight’s reseller for South Africa, Blue Tornado.
