FilmLight at Dimension3 Festival 2013

Latest colour management solutions on display in Paris from 18-19 June

FilmLight will be demonstrating how its award-winning colour grading software and colour management systems can provide a ‘colour pipeline’ at every stage of production at the Dimension3 festival in Paris.

Leading the products on display will be FilmLight’s new Baselight ONE deskside grading system and Slate control panel. Introduced at the recent NAB exhibition in Las Vegas, Baselight ONE is a diskless, 4U tower system with the full Baselight creative toolset, and a 2TB solid-state internal cache that guarantees impressive processing performance.

Slate—FilmLight’s new compact grading control panel—is designed with both Baselight and Baselight Editions in mind. It draws on the success of the revolutionary Blackboard 2 panel, and retains all the quality, precision and ergonomic convenience but in a smaller form factor and at a lower price point.

Also on display will be Baselight Editions, which puts the creative power of Baselight inside Avid (MAC|Windows), Final Cut Pro 7 and NUKE systems.

Attendees will also be able to see the latest version of FLIP, the real time on-set preview system. FLIP has recently been refined and it’s now a smaller, sleeker device which can be battery powered for location shoots. FLIP takes away the guesswork of digital cinematography, applying colour correction on-set so you know exactly what you have shot.

The Dimension3 Festival is taking place at the Dock Eiffel – FilmLight booth B3.
