The countdown to the annual London Critics’ Circle Film Awards has begun. Baselight was well-represented with nominees in FILM OF THE YEAR, FOREIGN LANGUAGE FILM OF THE YEAR, BRITISH FILM OF THE YEAR and DOCUMENTARY OF THE YEAR.
Leading the way with seven nominations, including FILM OF THE YEAR, Mike Leigh’s historical biopic ‘Mr Turner’ was graded by Adam Inglis for Lipsync Post.
Also in this category are ‘Leviathan’, ‘The Theory of Everything’ and ‘Under The Skin’.
‘Leviathan’ is also nominated in the FOREIGN LANGUAGE FILM OF THE YEAR category, and was graded by Dave Hughes at Dublin facility, Windmill Lane.
‘The Theory of Everything’ and ‘Under The Skin’ both receive a nod (alongside ‘Mr Turner’) in BRITISH FILM OF THE YEAR as well.

…while ‘Under The Skin’, Jonathan Glazer’s most recent film, was graded by John Claude at Dirty Looks.
