Join us for two days of exclusive Baselight training and colour workshops on the creative and economic benefits of future-proof workflows.
Each course/day is dedicated to a different audience and combines demonstrations of techniques and features as well as hands-on exercises.
Thursday 19 May (morning)
HDR look development
For DOPs, DITs and colourists.
What does look development really mean, and how does it fit into the big picture of the motion picture imaging pipeline? While we explore this topic, we will also cover the unique challenges of HDR output.
Additionally, we will show how the collaboration between Pomfort LiveGrade Studio and Daylight can help establish looks properly on-set.

HDR from set to finish: The importance of look development
For producers, post supervisors, and production company staff.
In this session, we will discuss why the early establishment of looks is essential to a production, and examine the possible workflows to achieve that.
Additionally, we will look at the unique challenges that HDR output brings.
Friday 20 May (morning)
Conform & Assist
For colour assistants, conform artists and online editors working on any grading system or starting on Baselight.
A special training session dedicated to colour assistants who build, manage and render timelines, and who want to get started or improve with Baselight.
In this hands-on workshop, we will walk through a project from initial conform to final rendering.
Friday 20 May (afternoon)
Switching to Baselight
For colourists familiar with any grading system.
This session is tailored to colourists who want to learn Baselight.
We will discuss the basic grading toolset and general concepts of the software.
This course will help you translate existing skills to quickly become fluent on Baselight and avoid common pitfalls when progressing from any colour grading software.
