Latest solutions on display in Mexico from 04-07 June 2013
FilmLight will be demonstrating its latest products and developments in partnership with AMTEC (Stand A1) at Expo Cine, Video y Televisión 2013, and showing how its award-winning colour grading software and colour management systems can provide a ‘colour pipeline’ at every stage of production.
Leading the products on display will be the new Baselight ONE deskside grading system and Slate compact control panel. Introduced at the recent NAB 2013 exhibition in Las Vegas, Baselight ONE is a diskless, 4U tower system with the full Baselight creative toolset, and a 2TB solid-state internal cache that guarantees impressive processing performance.
Slate is FilmLight’s new compact grading control panel designed with both Baselight and Baselight Editions in mind. It draws on the success of the revolutionary Blackboard 2 panel, and retains all the quality, precision and ergonomic convenience but in a smaller form factor and at a lower price point.
Also on display will be Baselight Editions, which put the creative power of the Baselight grading toolset inside Avid (MAC|Windows), Final Cut Pro 7 and NUKE systems.
Attendees will be able to see the latest version of FLIP, the real time on-set preview system. The new FLIP is smaller and sleeker and can now be battery powered for location shoots.
FLUX Store is a breakthrough approach to storing and managing the huge amounts of content generated by today’s digital workflows. Capable of streaming 2K and 4K content into Baselight systems over dual-link 10 gigabit ethernet, it includes user-expandable storage up to 80TB with integral data management. Teamed with the new Baselight ONE, it makes a perfect streaming media hub to which you can add a second station when you need to.
Baselight is regarded as the ultimate colour grading system. At Telemundo 2013, FilmLight will also demonstrate the powerful Baselight TWO system, previewing version 4.4. Baselight v4.4 adds new creative and practical facilities, ranging from Photoshop-style layer blending to new functionality for managing render queues and multiple deliverables. It also includes a new stereoscopic 3D toolset.
