FilmLight continues worldwide success

Leading facilities select Northlight, Baselight and Truelight as their products of choice

FilmLight, a leading provider of digital film and video technology, announced an excellent start to 2009, with sixteen leading studios and facilities around the world opting for FilmLight products.

Clients commented that they chose FilmLight for a number of reasons: for the company’s ability to supply high throughput workflows; for its ‘best-in-class’ products; and for its highly knowledgeable world-wide support team. In particular, they emphasised FilmLight’s drive to push the performance envelope, whilst still maintaining highly relevant and feature-rich toolsets.

FilmLight’s Baselight colour grading system continued to excel, including new sales: two Baselight EIGHTS, designed to enable clients to grade a mixture of commercials, long-form and DI from SD to 4K; four Baselight FOURS; eight Baselight HD systems, the youngest member of the Baselight range specifically designed for SD and HD grading and two Baselight ONES. Truelight, FilmLight’s complete colour management and calibration system, was a key component to all the sales.

Completing the picture, were four Northlight pin-registered film scanners, and three Truelight Players.

Mike Grieve, Sales Director at FilmLight stated “In an uncertain market, to be taking the lion’s share of available business is simply phenomenal. Focusing on performance, new feature-sets, technical ‘firsts’, and absolute quality, has made FilmLight a desired brand amongst our customers and their clients.”
