Flexi Effects
Baselight 6.0 supports a plugin effects mechanism called Flexi. Flexi is particularly suited to Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence models running on the GPU, but can be used for traditional GPU or CPU image effects.
Flexi effects are not included in the Baselight installer, as they are large files and do not change often. You can download Flexi Effects using the links below.
Flexi is currently used for Baselight's new Face Tracking and RIFE ML Retiming features; more effects will be added in future.
System Requirements
On Linux systems, these Flexi effects require GPUs with at least 16GB of VRAM.
On macOS systems, these Flexi effects require processors with at least 24GB of memory.
Additional installers
We have made the following installers available, which you can use ‘as is’ or as example Flexi effects from which to create your own.
These effects must be installed on your system using the installers that you can download below. Once installed, select Insert > Flexi Effect from the Baselight main menu (or insert the Flexi Effect operator into the layer operator grid).
